About
I'm Mohammad Hossein Taher, a software engineer from Tehran. Since 2016 I've gone from cutting website templates with Gulp and Jade to leading engineering as CTO — for a home-care healthcare product in Finland, an AI dubbing platform, and a blockchain product. My backend is Go with DDD and hexagonal architecture; my frontend is React and Next.js. I've mentored juniors on weekends since my first job, run a frontend bootcamp, and I'm starting a podcast. I write case studies that include the part that went wrong. Currently open to work.
How I work
I start from the domain: event storming with the people who do the work, then a design the team can own. I have led teams as a CTO, built Go and React systems end to end, and I teach what I learn.
